McKell learned to love music at an early age. She started playing piano at 6 years old and learned violin at age 12. During high school she began to share her passion for music by teaching piano and violin students and has taught music lessons for over five years. Recently she has added viola and cello to her music studio. She has studied with Andy O’Brien and Radmila Stojanovic. She is currently studying with local teachers Erin Conrad (violin) and Julie Briggs (piano). When she is not playing music, she enjoys thrift shopping, bowling, and watching movies.
